The final game in the series, Cleveland Indians 6 and the White Sox 1 . It was the first time in ages that we have been in a sweep. There have been little positives along the way and at this point I am staying focused on those. The worse part of the week was the departure of Jake Peavy to Boston before the window closed.

We have new additions to the Sox family and they have been welcomed and we are learning heaps about them, Andre Rienzo had an amazing first outing, and he will be amazing over time as the older and more experienced pitchers look after him.

Pack your bags kids, We are off to enemy terrority………………….Detroit

I have a feeling it could be a series full of surprises

See you on the field

In Cleveland

Jesse+Crain+Baltimore+Orioles+v+Chicago+White+p6Y1erkRCRMxMorning Kids.

First of all, I do apologize to you on where we are today. I looked wrong and thought we were at home when actually we are in Cleveland, Ohio. It is a four game series with the Indians. John Danks is on the mound today, Jake Peavy is scheduled for tomorrow provided he has not been traded. Sources are telling that it could be issues of paying out his current contract with the Sox to get his services.

At the time of opening this blog Jesse Crain has been traded to the Tampa Bay Rays for an undisclosed figure and a player to be named later. On behalf of my #chisoxsorority sisters, we wish him the very best, and safe travels to his new teams.

Game Three with the Detroit Tigers

Dayan+Viciedo+Chicago+White+Sox+v+Cleveland+hTD0EmrFIvDlMorning Kids,

To be honest, this series has been one disaster after another. With all the errors, and then with Robin getting thrown out before we even got to bat yesterday I really don’t know what to think now. I love the boys more than anything, and I feel helpless just like my Sorority Sisters. We want to help, but we have no clue what we can do. We stay positive, looking for those little things to focus on.  Hector Santiago was amazing yesterday, Yea , I know your saying that he lost and all but he had great moments. This is where Jake Peavy would be amazing to help out. Talk with Hector and give some guidance, Jake has that understanding and his experience is invaluable. That is my lobby to Robin, Rich Hahn and the rest, Jake has to stay! You guys need him more than you can see now.

OK, enough of my venting.

John Danks has the keys to the mound so, grab a coffee and lets head to the first.

Detroit -(ground out to short)(struck out)(struck out)

Sox -Viciedo(HOME RUN), Phegley(flied out to left), De Aza(single to center,Safe at second on steal), Ramirez(pop out to third), Rios(flied out to right)

That is the game with the Tigers taking that one out by a score of 6 and the White Sox 2. I am still not a John Danks fan and I just wonder if he returned too soon. Some of what he is throwing just does not seem up to where it needs to be, maybe its the experience and conditioning and all. Just my two cents on that one

Its Jake Peavy on the mound to close the series tomorrow, then the Kansas City Royals come to The Cell for a Three game visit.

See you on the field

Chris Sale picks up the win, with Addison Reed getting the save. The game was not without other excitement as Alexei Ramirez was hit by a pitch which cleared both benches. Chris Sale had a pitch that went high and inside on a Detroit batter. Not having seen the issues take place, Chris would NEVER thrown a pitch to intentionally hit a batter. I just do not understand when things like this happen what in the world would that accomplish.

We had a good solid series. No one tried anything fancy that caused errors, it was good basic one out at a time ball. You can see patience in the batters box, making the pitcher work harder to get the out.

Pack your travel bag kids, its off to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a three game series with the Phillies at Citizen Bank Park before heading home for the All Star break

Pack Your Bags, Let’s Hit The Road

305761_589249641094200_2033116706_n    First and most important to me is that I need to do a massive shout out to one amazing guy. He runs the Chicago White Sox Nation page on Facebook.

You can also find them on Twitter at @SoxNation2013

He is an amazing guy who works really hard and so loves his boys no matter what is happening. If you’re on Facebook give him a look, and tell him Cricket sent you.

NOW, pack your bag because we are on the road again kids, First stop is California to the McAfee Coliseum for a three game series with the Oakland Athletics, then its on to Seattle for three games with the Mariners, then its back to Chicago for visits from, the Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, before a much-needed day off.

We then head back out on the road for visits with the Astros, Minnesota Twins, Kansas City Royals. The New York Mets and the Cleveland Indians find their way to Chicago to close out the month of June.

Take care and see you soon
