The White Sox are now heading out on a road trip starting with the Minnesota Twins. Jose Quintana opens the series on Thursday against Yohan Pino. Friday’s listed match up sees Hector Noesi with a 2 and 5 record face off against Ricky Nolasco, his record is 4 and 5 with an ERA of 5.66. Saturday’s listing has Andre Rienzo, ERA is 5.67 with a 4 and 4 record, for the Twins listed is Kevin Correia,who is bringing a 3 and 8 record. Listed closer on Sunday is John Danks with a 6 and 5 record up against Phil Hughes who has a current ERA of 3.09 with a record of 7 and 3.
From Minnesota it is off to Baltimore to visit the Orioles for a three game series, from there they head north to visit Mark Buehrle and the Blue Jay for a four game series to close out the month of June.
The injury list has gotten a bit small but some good news has come through:
Avisail Garcia – as of May 30 there was positive progress and he was starting to play catch as of June 12
Nate Jones – continuing recovery from back surgery in May. He started to throw on June 9 and again on June 10
Matt Lindstrom – recovering from ankle surgery, which happened in May and could return in August.
Felipe Paulino – was back throwing from Rotator Cuff swelling. He was pulled from his May 27th rehab start due to continued soreness.
