As of the update of this blog The Sox are 13 games out but with a series against Detroit anything can happen.

The boys are playing well. Still small mistakes but things are slowly beginning to happen. I try to keep my personal views out of here but I need to address this one. Trade talks are going on and I am going to make a passionate plea here. HANDS OFF JAKE PEAVY!! Now let me explain why, Jake has the experience that this young club needs. Those new pitchers need someone like Jake to talk to after outings, work on the mechanics of the simple things. Jake can also help those young guys at the plate learning how to read pitches better and learn how to pick the ones to hit and ones to let go. I know Jake has had more than his share of injuries but he has a great pitchers mind, and what he can share would be invaluable to this club.

OK,. enough of that. Get some sleep and get ready for Detroit

See you at The Cell
